Learn some important facts about how and why encryption is used; hear common misconceptions about encryption as well as ways in which your privacy is being breached. Then, with Norris’ assistance, install easy-to-use programs to protect yourself against these threats.
This is primarily a how-to course so bring your devices if they are portable (laptop computers, tablets, cell phones), or be prepared to look over someone’s shoulder. You will learn how to install encryption to protect you when you text message and make phone calls, as well as when you email and instant message/chat.
